Paolo Carlin General Manager - Technology & Industrial Development
With an experience of more than 35 years in the industrial and commercial sector, first as an entrepreneur following all the management aspects of the family chemical company (later sold to Akzo Nobel BV), and later as a free lance advisor for both Italian and foreign companies . Paolo, 57, in 1986 started joint ventures in China and the USA, counting among his customers and partners the most important Chemical and Oil & Gas multinationals. From 2012 to 2015 he was Vice President for investments of an important Swiss Merchant, following the investments in startups and SMEs on the Italian market. Since 2015, through Carlin & Associates, he has dedicated his experience and passion to technological innovation, following strategic, corporate and financial transactions for dozens of client companies and interfacing with national and international investors and partners. In 2018 he conceived the integrated mobility platform of Flymove Mobility, and today he is General Manager of Equiventia Capital Partners.

Born in Milan in 1960, graduated in Economics and Commerce from the University of Turin, he has more than thirty-five years of experience in the financial and industrial sector which began in 1986 at Wells Fargo Bank, then in Société Générale and in the Italian investment bank Sopaf , with parent company Kidder Peabody in New York. Among his most significant positions, that of Managing Director for the M&A business in Lazard and Chief Financial Officer of Averna. In 1998 she began operating in the private equity sector, first as Chief Executive Officer of BPC Investimenti SGR, before being entrusted in 2003 to the leadership of the Mittel Group, for which she carries out important acquisitions of private companies and advisory activities. Since 2008 he has been an independent advisor working with the most renowned Italian companies, investment banks, private equity funds, consultancy firms and family offices for financial transactions, national and international investments. Among his roles, he restructured and was CEO of Aleph Sgr, he is CEO of Pegaso Investimenti and Vice Chairman of Ambrosetti Asset Management Sim.
